The
Virtual Classroom
- A Better Method than
Correspondence
Today, many established adults are
discovering a hunger to know and serve God better. With the
advent of the Internet, nearly anyone in the world can gain a better
understanding of God's Word, for personal growth or Christian service.
Virtual Classrooms offer a better method
than simple correspondence courses because:
-
Online chat rooms and forums provide
for greater interaction between the students and teachers and
between the students themselves. Much learning is done through
interaction.
-
The Internet provides resources at
your fingertips. Where once a student had to wait to go to the
library to do research, he or she simply needs to open a new
browser window and study.
-
Students can learn at their own speed,
but still have an instructor watching over their work and
encouraging them when it seems as if a student is getting bogged
down or distracted from their studies.
