The Virtual Classroom - A Better Method than Correspondence

Today, many established adults are discovering a hunger to know and serve God better.  With the advent of the Internet, nearly anyone in the world can gain a better understanding of God's Word, for personal growth or Christian service.

Virtual Classrooms offer a better method than simple correspondence courses because:

  1. Online chat rooms and forums provide for greater interaction between the students and teachers and between the students themselves.  Much learning is done through interaction.

  2. The Internet provides resources at your fingertips.  Where once a student had to wait to go to the library to do research, he or she simply needs to open a new browser window and study.

  3. Students can learn at their own speed, but still have an instructor watching over their work and encouraging them when it seems as if a student is getting bogged down or distracted from their studies.
